Since its beginning, Worth the Wait has depended on the generosity of people like you to carry out its mission of promoting abstinence until marriage with a strong emphasis on the physical, emotional and social benefits derived from an abstinent lifestyle.
Here’s how you can get involved:
- Help implement Worth the Wait health education programs at hospitals and local clinics, schools around the Panhandle, YMCAs, into business and into local community groups or distribute Worth the Wait materials to them.
- Recruit students from your schools to serve on our Teen Advisory Council (which helps make changes in Worth the Wait programs to better serve our teens in the Panhandle).
- Join our fundraising committee to help raise dollars to support local programs.
- Serve as a school proctor as a part of our Baylor study.
- Become involved in one of our teen mentoring program and serve as a good role model to teens throughout the area.
- Help the Worth the Wait staff with everyday office procedures such as typing, preparing mailings or filing.
