| Why is Abstinence the Healthiest Choice? |
- Abstinence is the only 100% effective method that ensures
teens will not have to deal with the physical, emotional,
and social consequences of sexual activity. Condoms only
offer risk reduction (see Condoms & STD information
sheet) of the physical consequences, and don't even address
the emotional and social consequences.
