- Teen pregnancy is the No. 1 reason teenage girls go to the hospital.
- Sex education has to start young and be constant. Just one speech or one course will not suffice.
- 7th through 9th graders who participate in Abstinence Education
two out of the three years, are most likely to wait until marriage or until adulthood to have sex.
- Less than 50 percent of U.S. teens have had sex, though by high school graduation, approximately 60
